("XCF" or the "Company") (Nasdaq:SAFX) today highlighted the addition of Southern Energy Renewables' technology and feedstock capabilities to its renewable fuels platform. Southern's work has focused on improving the cost, performance and supply reliability of renewable fuels and chemicals, including biomass-conversion pathways and potential higher-value co-products.

Competing on Economics

Southern's long-term objective is to improve price, performance and supply reliability while working toward fossil-fuel price parity. The commercial benchmark is whether renewable fuels and chemicals can compete with conventional alternatives on underlying economics and win customer demand without requiring a permanent subsidy.

Expanding Feedstock and Technology Options

Southern's strategy expands beyond conventional inputs by using regional waste and biomass feedstocks, including agricultural and forest residues. Its planned gasification pathway is intended to convert those materials into renewable methanol, and methanol-to-jet conversion into sustainable aviation fuel and other renewable products. These capabilities broaden XCF's technology and product options as market needs evolve.
